Bootlegger are pleased and honoured to have had one of their original compositions included on a Christmas compilation album alongside tracks from Belinda Carlisle, Dave Stewart and Kathy Sledge (of Sister Sledge). Bootlegger’s track “Coming Home for Christmas” was chosen for inclusion and, as the official launch publicity says: “You can certainly hear some McCartney influence on this track, an original that has that fun, toe-tapping almost Beatlesque kind of feel to it.”
The CD will benefit the US-based charity Sweet Relief, which describes its mission as: “Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems.”
