Great gig in aid of Cancer Research at Chinnor Village Hall

Bootlegger were delighted to be invited to play at the Young Farmers’ charity event in aid of the Churchill Hospital Cancer Research Fund in Chinnor Village Hall on 4th March. Organised by ex-members of Princes Risborough Young Farmers, the Hall was buzzing. This was the first outing for the “new look” Bootlegger and, after some great DJ-ing by Graham Egerton, we played the first of two sets. After a quick break, and some fantastic food courtesy of the organisers, we kicked off the second set, which was rammed full with great dance numbers. The dancefloor was packed and a great time was had by all. To top it all off, we were thrilled to hear that £2,000 was raised for this wonderful cause. We were also delighted when Graham, who invited us to play, said, “Thank you for Headlining our Charity Event at Chinnor Village Hall. Great feedback on the quality of your performance and selection of songs. Everyone had a good time, which is just the ticket for a charity event as word will get around and they will come again. It was a pleasure to work with you. I hope you have a great year ahead.”
