Chinnor Winter Beer Festival a great success

On Saturday 15th January more than 200 packed into Chinnor Village Hall for the Winter Beer Festival. They all enjoyed some very tasty real ales, ciders and mulled wine, along with performances from a wide range of local musicians: from solo acoustic acts and acoustic groups through to electric groups. Bootlegger were very pleased to…

Catch Bootlegger at the Chinnor Winter Beer Festival – January 15th 2011

I’m pleased to say that Bootlegger have been invited to play at the Chinnor Winter Beer Festival on January 15th 2011. This cosy event is the “little brother” to Chinnor’s successful Summer Beer Festival. It will be held in Chinnor Village Hall. As always, there will be an excellent selection of real ales and other…

Chinnor Beer Festival a great success

The Chinnor Beer Festival, held on 28th August, was a great success. There were about three times as many visitors as last year. Even though more beer had been ordered than last year, it all ran out and some valiant souls had to make an emergency mercy dash to the Rebellion Brewery in Marlow to…

Chinnor Winter Beer Festival update

The Chinnor Winter Beer Festival raised £1300, which is a fantastic result for a dull and very wet afternoon in February! The money will be used to support local youth projects. Thanks to everyone who came along and bought the excellent beer, cider and sausages! Some great photos of the Festival have been posted by…

Despite the heavy rain last Saturday, Chinnor Village Hall was packed for most of the afternoon as people came to sample the real ales and ciders and listen to some great local music. There was a variety of acoustic and electric music from artists both young and old, with Bootlegger falling into the latter category!…

Looking forward to the Chinnor Beer Festival

We had a great rehearsal at the West Star Studios in High Wycombe (thanks Keith and Eve). First time we’d been there and we’d thoroughly recommend them. On the way home we had a welcome pint in The Wheatsheaf in Chinnor. Now there’s less than a week to go to the Chinnor Beer Festival and…

Gearing up for the Chinnor Beer Festival

We had a fantastic Open Mic night at the Wheatsheaf last Saturday. It ended up with a great jam session featuring guitars, saxes, harmonica, keyboards, bass and African drums! But now it’s time to focus on our appearance at the forthcoming Chinnor Beer Festival. It takes place on Saturday 27th February from 14:00 to 19:00….
